YPC is a focused extension of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. Formed in 2000, YPC helps provide a voice for 20 and 30-somethings in the community. YPC's mission is to promote an environment that attracts and retains young professionals in Greater Des Moines. Our efforts focus on connecting young professionals to each other and to the community through social, civic, charitable, and professional development endeavors.
A desire to get involved in your community! There are no specific professional or age requirements for membership. Membership only requires an annual fee of $20/year. With more than 500 members, YPC provides an opportunity for young professionals to get involved at the level that fits them best. To join now, click here.
The Greater Des Moines Partnership is the community and economic development organization serving Central Iowa. The Partnership strives to create a unified region that provides not only a healthy business climate, but also a high quality of life.

Most events do not require pre-registration, although it is always encouraged on our events page. Volunteer opportunities, athletic intramurals and events that require tickets usually require registration or payment beforehand. Please consult the calendar of events for details on a particular activity.
On roughly the first Monday and third Thursday of each month, YPC holds New Member Meetings where attendees can have the chance to learn more from a current YPC ambassador and ask questions in a small-group setting. New member and potential new members are welcome to join or "check out" any of YPC's events.
YPC’s committees include Civic, Charitable, Diversity, Impact Downtown, Marketing, Membership, Professional Development and Social. Members have the opportunity to get involved in any number of committees they wish. Non-members are able to attend committee meetings, although we do encourage you to join YPC.
