Young Variety
Young Variety, also known as YV is a group of fun, passionate twenty- and thirty-something philanthropists ready to roll up our sleeves and help make a difference in our community for at-risk, special needs and underprivileged children in Iowa!
YV works every day to raise money through events, membership, after hours and Telethon VIP Panel. To learn more about Young Variety, their Bikes for Kids program, or other ways to volunteer, visit www.yviowa.org!

Young Variety Programs:
SUNSHINE COACH PROGRAM:
Transportation plays a vital role in serving the children in our communities, yet agencies consistently lack funding for this necessity. Variety - The Children's Charity Sunshine Coach program helps to fill this great need - to accommodate kids in wheelchairs, transport children to hospitals where they receive necessary medical attention, to counseling where they receive specialized treatment, and to clubs and shelters where they receive positive programming. The Sunshine Coaches also give kids the opportunity to enjoy field trips and recreational outings.
BIKES FOR KIDS PROGRAM:
Variety works with schools and agencies to locate area children to receive a bike and helmet courtesy of individual sponsors. Local Police Departments conduct bicycle safety instruction. Cost: $100 to sponsor a bike and helmet; Free to attend presentation.
