The mission of Young Women’s Resource Center is to embrace and inspire young women to become strong, self-confident and successful.
As a young woman, growing up is hard. Relationships are complicated. Knowing how today’s decisions will impact tomorrow’s possibilities is difficult. Having a place you can turn to for guidance and encouragement is critical.
At the Young Women’s Resource Center we’ve created a place for young women to hang out with friends, find support and enhance their self-esteem. So they can create a life full of possibilities and influence. Because we believe they deserve to chase their dreams.

Upcoming volunteer opportunities:
-Celebrity Servers Night is the YWRC’s newest annual fundraiser. It takes place at Centro and Django with local celebrities acting as servers that work for tips. All tips from Celebrity Servers Night benefit the YWRC. Celebrity Servers Night is scheduled for September 24, 2012.
-Sit On It! is the YWRC’s largest annual fundraiser. It is a live and silent auction focused on pieces of furniture and objects of art made and donated by local artists. Sit On It! is scheduled for April 13th, 2013.
