2008 Strategy
1- Increase minority representation within YPC by recruiting and retaining members from all backgrounds (ethnicity, sexual orientation, people with disabilities, religious beliefs, etc).
2-Increase professional diversity among sectors that are underrepresented in current YPC membership.

Q: How does the YPC define Diversity?
A: The YPC defines diversity as all the important human characteristics that impact individuals’ values, opportunities, and perceptions of self and others such as: age, gender, ethnic heritage, race, mental and physical abilities, and sexual orientation. But also aspects that are less visible to others around us, and more variable in the degree of influence they exert on our individual lives such as: military experience, religion, and work experience.
