Social Committee

The Social Committee is responsible for the many social activities that YPC has throughout the year. The goal of the committee is to create and arrange social events for members and to make them more aware of fun activities in Des Moines, including social, sporting and cultural events. The committee's emphasis is on the "play" portion of YPC's mission of making Des Moines a great place to live, work, and play.

Some of the events that we are planning each month include:

  • A monthly happy hour at a different locale each month
  • Sporting events
  • Events at local Des Moines attractions
  • Events that benefit charities involved with our Charitable Committee
