| Activities / Involvement in the Community: |
As a member of the YPC Marketing Committee, I am involved with communicationg YPC events to various media outlets such as Juice, as well as helping to lead a focus group to gain insight on how to continually improve YPC. I am also a Committee Chair for Bras for the Cause, a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish, the Transportation Coordinator for the World Food Prize, a volunteer for AFS and a member of the BNI Business First Des Moines group. |
| Favorite Things to Do in Des Moines |
Other than just spending downtime with my wife Kate and our golden retriever Maggie, one of my favorite things to do is go to the Funny Bone Comedy Club in West Glen. Also, I enjoy trying different local restaurants, catching various concerts, Urbandale Friday Fest, and the Downtown Farmers Market. During football season, I love hanging out with family and friends while tailgating up at ISU for Cyclone games. |
| Something People Don't Know About Me: | If I could choose to be in any other profession, I would be a stand-up comedian. I'm also an aspiring MMA fighter. |
| Anything Else You Want People to Know |
So far, YPC has been an excellent experience for me. It's not only been an opportunity to network and learn, but to meet some truly fun and interesting people (like Webmaster Doug Enright). We receive so much value with our membership, so I encourage YPC members to take full advantage of all the opportunities YPC offers. |
