| Job / Employer Description: | I work in product stewardship at Pioneer Hi-Bred. We help to make sure our products and customers comply with the laws and regulations of each country where they are being launched as well as follow our principles and practices. We promote customer education on biotech regulations and crop management strategies for biotech products. Pioneer Hi-Bred, a DuPont business, is the world's leading source of customized solutions for farmers, livestock producers and grain and oilseed processors. |
| Activities / Involvement in the Community: | When I joined 2 years ago, I was new to Des Moines and the YPC events especially the social and Change Agent activities helped me meet a lot of people and learn more about the community. I became involved with the marketing committee and began promoting YPC to my company HR. Currently participate on the professional development committee and developing mentoring plans. Participating in this year’s YPC dragon boat team was awesome. I'm also a member of the 20/30 society which helps support grants in the Des Moines area funding initiatives that improve the quality of life for young professionals and looking forward to this year’s charity Road Rally. |
